Namibia 2013 Adventure Travel World Summit: just under 100 spaces remain

The Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) calls on buyers, suppliers, media, and everyone from tour operators to market destinations and travel agents to register as fast as they can to fill the less than 100 places left for the 10th  Adventure Travel World Summit (ATWS) due to take place in Namibia on 26-31 October 2013.

The summit, which is expected to be attended by delegates from more than 55 countries across the world, has been themed Imagine, Inspire, Invest.

ATTA said this week that the ATWS will be inspirational, educational and truly adventurous, and will be a platform for delegates to discover this Southern African nation through; among others, horseback riding and mountain-biking canyon trails, chocolate tasting and star gazing, which they will remember for the rest of their lives.

At no charge, all delegates can participate in one of the 40 ‘Two Days of Adventure’, all of which end in Swakopmund for the Namibian Desert Dinner on October 28, the Seattle-based tourism organisation said.

Media houses and practitioners who will attend will also have the opportunity to network with well-established publications such as Outside Magazine, National Geographic Adventure, Huffington Post, Lonely Planet, Travel Weekly, and many more.
