FNB Connect has been ranked as the third best ADSL Internet Service Provider (ISP) in South Africa by MyBroadband survey. This places the bank ahead of many larger specialised ISPs, the bank announced today.
The survey was conducted among 4 329 South African broadband users of which over 2 800 were ADSL Subscribers.
“In an era where financial services and ICT are becoming increasingly more integrated, FNB is proud to be ranked among established service providers with a relevant and quality data service. Making voice and data savings available to customers is just another way in which FNB aims to add value to the customer offering and experience,” Farren Roper, head of FNB Connect ISP and business operations, said.
The Johannesburg-based bank said its FNB Connect offers qualifying FNB Cheque Account holders affordable voice and data services, monthly free data rewards of up to 5 GB and free access to online banking and social media websites.
“Our ranking in this survey serves as motivation for FNB Connect to investigate areas of improvement so that our voice and data offering will continuously add value to customers and place the bank amongst the top ADSL Internet Service Providers,” Roper said.
FNB Connect was founded in 2008. It operates in terms of telecommunications licences. The App development house within the business unit has expertise in voice and messaging as well as ADSL service provision.
