Durban gospel group launches first album

South Africa’s Kwamashu Praises Jesus (KPJ), a 13-member gospel group established in 2012 by Bheki Ntshingila, has finally launched its first album titled Prayer for Our nation.

The album, as well as their music, is a mixture of traditional, contemporary and modern gospel music suitable for all ages.

Gospel fanatics can jam and dance to the Afro-RnB tune “Ebenezer’, another praise and thanks giving song.

The Kwazulu Natal band, which consists of singers from different backgrounds, said the album will be soon available in music stores nationwide.

Founder and executive producer Ntshingila said it was a blessing to work with the likes of gospel giants such as Sipho Mbhele, Angel Dateh Zondo, James Langa of Avante, Wake Mahlobo, Ntokozo Ngongoma and Zamo Cele.
