The world’s largest oil industry gathering, Africa Oil Week, is heading down to Cape Town, South Africa, on 25-29 November 2013, and is expected to be attended by over 1250 delegates from six continents, Global Pacific & Partners announced today.
Cape Town International Convention Centre is the venue for this conference, which will draw over 100 leading speakers from analysts, corporates, governments, national oil companies, licensing agencies, banks, service and supply, among others.
All of them are expected to give a valuable insight about the future direction of the African continent’s industry.
Africa Oil Week is celebrating 20 years of its existence this year.
Conference Chairman, Dr Duncan Clarke, said in a statement: “With a consistent record of oil and gas discoveries and rising oil and gas reserves across its hydrocarbon terrains, growing oil and gas production, and many new ventures and discoveries, Africa remains one of the key regions in the global oil and gas game.”
