Accorhotels.com, the group’s booking portal, has become one of the new partners sponsoring France’s first national team, junior national team, women’s soccer team, the French Cup and amateur soccer, the group announced last week.
Accor will be partnering these national teams during their trips in France and abroad, and serve as an official supplier to the French Cups.
Accor is the world’s largest hospitality group, owning more than 3 600 hotels and 470 000 rooms across 92 countries.
Its brands include Sofitel, Pullman, MGallery, Grand Mercure, Novotel, Suite Novotel, Mercure and Adagio, ibis, ibis Styles, ibis budget and hotelF1.
All Accor hotels in France (more than 1 550 in all) will be involved via the www.accorhotels.com booking platform, offering accommodation deals for fans, the two-million-plus club members and 17 000 French Soccer Federation clubs.
The group said its four-year partnership with the French Soccer Federation (FFF) is deepening the longstanding ties uniting its brand with the world of sports.
“Accorhotels.com is proud to team up with the FFF for the long term. We believe in the same values, in the same excellence, team spirit and performance drives that inspire Accor employees around the world every day,” Accor Hotel Services France CEO Christophe Alaux said in a statement.
The partnership will also include features such as free match tickets and invitations to training sessions in Clairefontaine and special deals.
